Wendy Ngai
Counsel,
Barrister & Solicitor
Wendy maintains a broad commercial and construction litigation practice, with a focus on real property, construction, and commercial tenancy disputes. She represents a variety of clients, including contractors, property owners, landlords, tenants, professional consulting firms, and institutional clients on matters relating to contractual disputes, construction lien claims, commercial tenancy disputes, and professional liability claims. Her litigation experience includes appearing before all levels of court in Ontario and successfully advocating for clients on motions, applications, appeals, and at trial.
Driven by a client-first approach, Wendy strives to find practical, efficient solutions to her clients’ problems. With a careful eye on their bottom line and objectives, Wendy works to effectively resolve disputes, whether that is in or outside of the courtroom.
Before joining MB, Wendy practiced litigation at a mid-sized Toronto law firm, acted as in-house litigation counsel at a mid-market private equity firm, and articled at the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks.
Beyond her practice, Wendy enjoys long-distance running, following up on the latest Formula One races, and maintaining her attendance at high-intensity interval training classes across the city.
