Sammy graduated from the University of Hong Kong and obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1976 and became a Barrister-at-law, member of Middle Temple, United Kingdom. In 1981, he further obtained his Master's degree of Public Administration from the University of Hong Kong.

Sammy has had over 12 years in Hong Kong Court practice and undertook civil litigation at all levels of the Court including a successful landmark case in judicial review in public administration at the Privy Council of United Kingdom.

He is the team leader in the civil litigation team; focusing on judicial review, interlocutory motions, injunctions, commercial disputes, strategic planning, dispute resolutions and litigation involving all real estate transactions, both residential and commercial.

​

Fluent in the Chinese languages, both written and spoken and his connection with the legal community in Hong Kong makes him easy to handle litigation involving both jurisdictions. He handles many cases involving assets in both Hong Kong and in Canada.
